SAPE Farm Visitation

The SPIRES team with the assistance of the Deputy Director of Energy Mr. Gabriel Aimaea paid a short site visit to SAPE Farm on Monday 28th March. SAPE Farm was a site chosen under Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock as their selected site for their partnership with the project, the accompanying officer for MAL Mr. Alister Talua also accompanied the team. A little background on the Farm, the farm is established by Dr. Paul it is a Cassava Farm aimed to export its product to Melbourne Australia. The Farm will be focusing on producing cassava flour but with its limitation to electricity, MAL has suggested the project to further look into the problem in hopes of resolving it by providing a source of power or by addressing what would be the possible solution.
